It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of the first edition of the SMART Competence Register.

The SMART Competence Register was developed to be a useful tool for identifying competence needs, defining capacity building curricula and approaches, and help draft job descriptions of staff using SMART. Additional tools and guidance will be provided by the SMART Partnership to support easy and meaningful use of the list of competences presented in the document.

The supporting  tools will include materials such as:

•       Pre & post training assessments

•       Specific module evaluations

•       Needs/Gap analysis

•       Trainer evaluations

•       Self-assessments (for sites and trainers)
